To many, Mrs. Smith may seem to be a familiar face. She is an employee of Southern Regional Technical College on the Thomasville campus for the Office of Admissions and Testing.  There, Krystal firmly believes that her work is an extension of her ministry and helps her to witness to others outside of the four walls of the church. “As a mother, you see needs differently. You see missed moments and it can grieve your heart. I don’t want to ever have a minute of regret as I go through this life. I want to leave this earth empty but in so doing leaving a legacy like those of old. When my son and his children speak of me, I want them to know that their mother also served the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In doing so, they’ll believe without a shadow of doubt that the same God who worked miracles for me will work even greater miracles for them.”

Krystal is the wife of James P. Smith, Jr. of Thomasville, Ga. They have two sons, James Tramell (Jhodeci), and Matthew. The couple has been blessed with an amazing grandson and granddaughter.

Jukenya Bolden

Ju-Kenya Bolden Crawford, I have been a native of Gulfport, Mississippi, for 51 years.  I am a mother of three grown children and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters that I simply adore.

I am the proud owner of Ryan’s Salon of Glory for 29 years, & RALL’s Fitness and Wellness LLC for five years.

In 2017, a traumatic incident happened to me, causing me to make a life-changing decision for a transformation for my health and life. It was at that time, I was 304 pounds, and I couldn’t walk very far without getting out of breath. one day, lying in bed, I thought I was having a heart attack; I cried out to God to help me, and I told him if he would, I would make a lifestyle change.

From that day in June 2017, I prayed and asked God to give me an eating regimen and strategies for working out. With the help of my friends Paula Lewis & Kizzy Bennet, I joined Fitlife Studios. With the training of my trainers, Joe & Rebeca Barker, And being a member of Fitlife’s Fitness Camp, I went from a size 24 to a size 8 without any surgery. Wow.

I was featured in the Gulfcoast women’s magazine, Here on the Gulfcoast, And black fitness on social media because of my drastic weight loss.

I have been on this journey for eight years now. I have gained and lost weight through the years, but with the help of God, I’m still on the journey helping and inspiring others.  I will never forget the prayer that my Pastor,  Overseer Shirley Ard, wrote, “ Lord, let us eat things that are needful for our bodies.” That part of the prayer came alive in my life.  Through this journey, my meal prep and catering business, RALL’s Fitness & Wellness LLC, was birthed. Always know this: it’s not a sprint but a marathon, and you can do it.
