    Founder/Executive Director

    Dr. Tracy Henshaw Cameron is an experienced educational leader with a robust administrative and instructional leadership background spanning Pre-K to 12th grade. With a proven track record in coordinating curriculum and instruction, Dr. Cameron excels in leveraging data analysis to inform and enhance instructional decisions, always focusing on improving student outcomes.

    In Dr. Cameron roles as an Assistant Superintendent and Academic Director, she has successfully overseen instructional coaches, collaborated closely with school directors, and managed content specialists. Dr. Cameron has a strong foundation in developing professional learning plans and conducting impactful workshops for educators.

    Specializing in multi-tiered support systems, has worked extensively with English learners and gifted programs, leading initiatives that align practices with educational standards and priorities. Dr. Cameron's experience encompasses a range of educational settings, including roles as an assistant principal and middle school instructor.

    Additionally, Dr. Cameron is skilled in project management, having managed proposals, budgets, and external consultations. Her innovative approach to analyzing and utilizing data helps refine instructional practices, ultimately fostering a collaborative and effective learning environment.

    Dr. Cameron is dedicated to enhancing the educational landscape through leadership and professional development, empowering educators to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.

    Vice President/Treasurer

    Angela Crooms is the dedicated Property Manager of Nottingham Apartments in Greenville, MS. She is an active member of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Gamma Iota Chapter of Greenville, MS, and the Kiwanis Club of Greenville, organizations that align with her deep passion for serving and helping others.

    Angela is the loving wife of John Crooms, and together they have built a beautiful family, including two children, three cherished grandchildren, and their beloved grand dog, Kobe. Her commitment to her community and family highlights her caring and compassionate nature, making her an inspiring figure to all who know her.

    Secretary

    Essence Evans is an enthusiastic fourth grade teacher from Cleveland, MS, with a strong commitment to education and student success. She graduated from Gulfport High School in 2017 and earned a scholarship to attend Alcorn State University, graduating in May 2021. Essence began her teaching career in August 2021 as a second grade teacher, where she quickly earned recognition through various awards, including Teacher of the Month, Game Changer, i-Ready Champion, and Rookie of the Month.

    In her pursuit of continual growth, Essence attended William Carey University in 2023, where she obtained her Master’s in Elementary Education in 2024. Now teaching fourth grade, she has received accolades such as Teacher of the Month, the Fab Five Award, and the Peacock Award, affirming her dedication to her students and the teaching profession. 

    In addition to her role as an educator, Essence is a devoted mother to her son, who serves as her greatest inspiration. She also balances her teaching career with work as a waitress and event personnel on weekends. Passionate about cooking and dancing, Essence believes in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for all her students.

    Devetrice Foster‑Green is an educator, leader, mother, mentor, and woman of faith who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. She is a proud first‑grade teacher at West Bolivar Elementary School in Rosedale, Mississippi, where she is entering her ninth year in education and her fifth year serving the West Bolivar community.

    Her educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Delta State University (2009), a Master of Business Administration from Grantham University (2013), and a master’s in teaching from Jackson State University (2025). She is currently pursuing an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Principalship, continuing to grow as an educator and future school leader.

    Beyond the classroom, Devetrice serves as a cheer coach and actively contributes to her community through ministry and choir service. She is a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Her faith is central to who she is, and she strives to encourage, uplift, and pray for others wherever she goes.

    Family is one of Devetrice’s greatest blessings. She is a devoted mother of four and grandmother of three, cherishing every opportunity to love, support, and inspire her family.

    Her purpose is to educate, empower, encourage, and inspire. She believes that every child has potential, every person has a purpose, and that with faith, perseverance, and determination, we can become everything God has called us to be.

    Emma Mullins is the founder of Mindful Evolution, a safe and supportive group home designed to serve pregnant young women ages 18 to 24.  

    Emma is married and a proud mother and grandmother. She draws daily inspiration from her Christian faith, which deeply informs the way she leads, and serves.  Emma leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to seeing every young mother discover her value and God-given purpose.

    For well over a decade, Emma has built a successful career as an entrepreneur. She operates an event space on a lovely acreage in South Georgia, is a licensed insurance agent and tax professional. Her experience in these fields sharpened her skills in organization, problem-solving, and advocacy, all of which now serve as the backbone of Mindful Evolution’s operations.

    Emma’s life is marked by a deep commitment to serving others. Whether she’s mentoring women—young or seasoned—guiding upcoming entrepreneurs, or feeding the hungry, Emma shows up with compassion and purpose. She has a gift for seeing people who feel unseen and offering support that restores dignity, confidence, and hope. Always attentive to the needs around her, Emma is constantly on the lookout for someone she can bless, encourage, or uplift. Her community knows her as a woman who doesn’t just talk about service—she lives it daily.

    Tiffanie Harris is an author, mental health counselor, and faith-centered wellness leader dedicated to helping women heal and pursue wholeness. She is the author of Grief Sucks!, a transparent guide that supports readers through the realities of loss with honesty, compassion, and God’s sustaining grace.

    As the CEO of HITZ Faith & Fitness, Tiffanie merges spiritual growth with physical stewardship, empowering women to strengthen their bodies and renew their minds. She is a NASM Certified Women’s Fitness Specialist and is currently completing her Nutrition Certification to better serve women seeking holistic transformation.

    Tiffanie also leads HITZ Resilience, a specialized subsidiary providing counseling and emotional support to hospice professionals and serves as the Creative Strategist & Project Manager for You Are a Jewel (YAAJ), shaping messaging and community engagement for a movement rooted in faith and purpose.

    Above all, she is a woman who loves the Lord, believes in the power of prayer, and strives daily to live a life that honors her King, Jesus Christ.

    Denise Brown Briggs is a dedicated educator and advocate for children's welfare, hailing from Gulfport, Mississippi. Born and raised in Gulfport, she attended Harrison County and Gulfport schools, where her passion for education took root. Throughout her career, Denise has served in various roles, including teacher, instructional coach, and building administrator, consistently striving to create positive learning environments and empower students.

    As a proud mother of two and grandmother of two, Denise deeply values family and community. Her commitment to making a difference extends beyond the classroom; she is an active volunteer and serves on the board of You Are a Jewel Inc., an organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of those in need. A strong faith in God guides her actions as she endeavors to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

    Denise's invaluable contributions to education and her community reflect her unwavering belief in the potential of every child. Her passion for service and her love for God are evident in all that she does, making her a respected figure and an inspiring role model in Gulfport and beyond.

    Chaplain

    Stephanie Brewer is a distinguished educator and administrator with over three decades of experience in the field of education. Renowned for her impactful work, she has received numerous awards throughout her career, reflecting her dedication to student success and teacher development. Currently, she serves as a teacher coach with Kids First Education, where she continues to fulfill her passion for enhancing educational outcomes in Mississippi.

    Guided by the belief that one cannot retire from their purpose, Stephanie actively collaborates with teachers and students every week, striving to improve the educational landscape and empower future generations. At the heart of her endeavors lies a profound faith in God, which fuels her commitment and inspires her efforts.

    Outside of her professional pursuits, Stephanie enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband and four sons. She is also a proud pet owner of dogs and chickens, and she finds joy in nurturing her garden. With a busy but fulfilling lifestyle, Stephanie Brewer exemplifies a life dedicated to service, family, and unwavering faith.

    Historian/ Parliamentarian

    Delisha Lee is a long time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and resides in Pascagoula, Ms. She is a wife of 21 years and the mother of four beautiful children and a fur family of bullies.

    Delisha possesses a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and holds a career of 18 years in the gaming industry. She is currently a Cage Supervisor at the “Show Service Award” winning Beau Rivage Casino.

    Delisha enjoys volunteering throughout the Gulf Coast, where she has been a part of community projects like feeding the homeless, cleaning the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, debris removal on Deer Island, feeding the children of America food drives, and etc. She also enjoys planning events, cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

    Delisha hopes to one day start a nonprofit organization for the special needs community especially those living with Downs Syndrome in partnership with her own Downs Syndrome sister, Charnea.

    Starting a scholarship in the memory of her first grandchild, Maddison-Jaide Lee is also a vision of hers. Delisha’s driving motivation to leave a legacy is her family, especially her two grandchildren Dayalani and Kamryn.
